HANDCRAFTING
Each object is exquisitely handcrafted and finished by hand by capable artisans.
We do every type of repairs, even on silver objects that are not our products. Upon request we can create new and personalized lines, we can create special objects of any type e we give our clients the possibility to personalize their objects with their brand stamp.
HANDS
The only silver-making tools impossible to substitute are the hands. Only after many years' experience and sacrifice can these instruments be used to complete the handcrafting that you see below:
TURNING
This procedure is done to shape the silver around wooden molds, which are used to make round objects such as candelabras, coffee pots, etc.
EMBOSSING
This is carried out using special tools (called in the trade "buttasu" or lift-up) which are hit by a hammer to raise the silver, outlining the forms to which the engraving will then give life.
Mr. Franco Mondin
ENGRAVING
The silver is shaped with the help of small tools of infinite shapes and sizes to create the designs and figures which embellish most of our collection.
HAMMER CURVING
This is accomplished using special hammers which model and shape the silver to obtain the desired design.

ASSEMBLY
One of the most delicate phases of the work, it consists of putting together the different parts of the object and welding, then adding the parts which will complete the finished object (such as hinges, borders, handles, etc.)
CLEANING AND WAXING
Cleaning and waxing are carried out using special abrasive brushes. In the first phase the brushes remove impurities, in the second phase they wax and give the silver the appearance which we are used to.
BRANDING
At the end of all the phases of work and after a series of rigorous checks, the silversmith places his "signature" by branding the finished objects. The brand, the hand-worked 925/100 silver guarantee, and the title of silver used are imprinted on each piece. The brand stamp can be personalized with the client's brand.
